Our frames are made of sustainably sourced wood. All mounts are “conservation grade”, sustainably sourced, 100% acid free, and will not discolour or fade with age. They are delivered in rigid corrugated cardboard boxes made from recycled materials.

The art prints are printed with water-based inks on paper from sustainable forests. They are shipped in a variety of packaging types depending on the size or where they are printed such as rigid envelopes, tubes or cardboard boxes. Plastic free.

Magimó Fine Art Prints and Framed Art Prints Guide Size

The term Giclée, pronounced gee-klay, was initially coined by printmaker Jack Duganne (of Nash Editions) in 1991. Today, it's used to describe fine art printing using pigment based, archival quality inks, manufactured on advanced inkjet printers.

Whereas many traditional print technologies — such as lithography — use the classic CMYK 4-colour combination (in some instances with the addition of a pantone referenced spot colour) Giclée printers use up to 12 individual colours.

This gives much smoother gradient transitions and a wider colour gamut. In other words, more depth and richness to the final print, which helps to create stunning vibrant artwork with amazing reproduction.

Sourced from sustainably managed forests, acid-free and printed with water-based inks, they are premium quality, heavyweight fine art printing materials with a smooth, clean finish.
